Collaborate and connect
Various dates in 2025, 7pm-8.30pm, via Zoom. FREE
As a member of EMDR Sussex, we’d like to invite you to our ‘Collaborate and Connect’ peer group. These online 90 minute sessions are an opportunity to connect with local clinicians to discuss and explore EMDR related issues including relevant literature, research or media, (whether you're completing your basic training, recently qualified, practitioner or a consultant).
The intention for each session is:
- 7pm - Welcome. Introduce ourselves and our connection to EMDR
- 7.15pm - Introduction of the paper being reviewed (details below)
- 7.20pm - Opening the discussion to the group for thoughts, experiences, feedback
- 7.45pm - Comfort break
- 7.50pm - Resuming the session in small break out groups to continue discussions
- 8.10pm - Return to the larger group, headlines of areas discussed
- 8.25pm - Closing and any verbal feedback on the session
- 8.30pm - End of session
For each session, you'll be sent a journal, article or podcast and details of which source material we'll be discussing will be sent via the EMDR Sussex mailing list. Along with details on how to register.
Dates for your diary
Our future ‘Collaborate & Connect’ peer groups will maintain a focus on challenges within EMDR and are scheduled for 7pm - 8.30pm on the following dates:
- Tuesday 11th February, 2025
- Tuesday 6th May, 2025
- Tuesday 22nd July, 2025
Housekeeping: The peer group isn’t eligible for EMDR UK CPD points, yet it may be eligible with your primary membership organisations. This is intended as a small way to cultivate community within the local EMDR arena and isn’t an alternative for supervision or consultation. Any opinions expressed by the facilitator are theirs and theirs alone. They in no way represent the opinions of EMDR Sussex or EMDR UK.
We hope to see you there!
Warmly,
EMDR Sussex
